- What is with the huge headers at the top of the home page now? Betweeen that and the expanding ads I cant get to the news stories. I'm switching over to CNN where I get a better experience.

- bh, the Ford recall was over the cruise control, and there was indeed a class action lawsuit and 550 reported fires, some with fatalities. Ford battled NHTSA for 10 years over the recalls.

- Seems everyone forgot about the Ford recall of 9.6 million cars. Mine was one of them. You don't think GM has had to recall millions of cars?

- The fact is the American car companies did this to themselves, and the UAW was an important part of that. We taught the Japanese how to build cars, and while they focused on making a BETTER CAR, the American car companies focused on making MORE MONEY. They should have focused on quality.
